Race: Human (Arabic Roots)
Age: 23
Class: Rouge
Sex/Gender: Female, although Alla disguises herself as a man using her clothing and padding.

She wears tight clothes underneath as another layer with padding to keep her gender concealed. Additionally, Alla has a face mask that covers all but her eyes. She has work gloves and boots and is practically covered head to toe.
Equipment: A small, curved knife rests strapped to the side of her waist. She carries a pouch full of random scrolls, trinkets, and books. There is also ink and color for map making along with many maps of landscapes and stars.
Backstory:
Alla comes from the far off deserts in the east. Her home, like many others, is a simple settlement by a river, in which wars between clans take place for land and water. Alla never truly participated in combat and warfare, that was for the men of the tribes. Instead, she took interest in the world around her. The interest first sparked when she spoke with a woman in the tribe who was a "Star Gazer," a fortune teller, in other words, who read the signs written in the sky for any who wish to understand the world. Alla saw the star gazing as a fascinating work and dwelled into interest. At a young age, she took apprenticeship to gaze upon the heavens. In her apprenticeship, she learned to map stars and the lands around her. Furthermore, she focused studies on intellect and sciences to understand the world around her. Alla truly did love these studies. To read omens was part of understanding the world. To have understanding and knowledge of culture, religion, and life, was part of understanding the world. Work with science and arithmetic was also, part of understanding the world.
She continued these studies until the age of 15, when she was told to set off by her mentor. The only way Alla could truly understand the world around her was to explore and see it for herself. To gain experience and knowledge of it all first hand and to study every detail of it all. To safely leave her village, she left with a merchant who came by her home village every once in a while, and who was also a family friend. Alla and the merchant traveled off into the sands into a city far from her village. It was here where she started to notice things, and took them as omens. Strange men in the corners of the city, suspicious merchants. Alla began to feel uncomfortable with it all and had her first doubts of leaving her tiny village. But she thought it best to keep moving on, for the sake of reading stars and the world with them. It wasn't until the merchant brought her to a back ally on the third day of being in the city, where she truly realized her mistake in not taking the omens to heart. There is a group of criminals in these lands known as the Malla'Ka (Ma-Lah, Kah). They hunt down potential... Prizes, and steal them away from homes. Sometimes the Malla'Ka hire other folk who are willing to preform trickery for their dirty work. Alla would be one to fall victim. Before she could turn back, the merchant forcefully shoved her into the presence and capture of Malla'Ka mercenaries. Alla was gagged and bound, and before she knew it, words that sealed her away would be exchanged. She was sold off and the Malla'Ka kept her as their "slave," doing unspeakable things to her.
It wasn't until two years later when she finally escaped. When she did, Alla was a different woman. The merchant who sold her was nowhere to be seen. And her escape was by pure luck. She slit the throat of one of the guardsmen with his own knife as he made the mistake of sleeping after he had his way with her, and used that as a chance to escape. By mere luck, and perhaps a bit of aptitude, she was gone from the clutches of the Malla'Ka. Her first instinct was to gather clothing and flee. She was to flee far away from the city and she attempted to live a normal life in pursuit of her dream. That was not to be had, though, as eventually she broke down. Mentally, things where not the same for Alla. She took up to stealing, something she never thought of before, as it seemed to be an efficient way to gather what she wanted. Stealing was far easier than gathering her own work, and it made up for the lost time. While she knew it morally wrong, she simply did not care. She had become jaded and harsh to those around her. She just wanted to pursue knowledge as that itself was an obsession. Eventually, the mental stress of being a "slave," to the Malla'Ka wore down on her. Alla decided to cut her hair, and change herself. She bought clothes so those around her would mistake her for a man. She cut her hair in case of any accidents or mishaps. She herself knew she was a woman, but for the sake of keeping attention off of herself, she fell into the guise of a man.
Years have passed since then and she has made quite some progress in her life of theft. She has mapped out and studied many lands and still remains true to the stars around her. The man known as Lek'ir has even earned a name for himself, which translates to "King Fox." The King Fox is famous for his theft in knowledge rather gold, and is respected among thieves in the lands. Alla would continue to travel, until she stumbles upon our story. And this is where her travels continue...
