"A stone of what now?" Robin says while looking curiously at the monk. "Well it sounds like we get some orcs to kill so I'm down" he stands while looking at Lek and the monk.

Halaram sighed as he heard Floxx' voice move from the bar towards the catfolk monk. He stood, made his way behind the bar, fetched a plate and fork and served himself his meal before moving the skillet off of the heat. He returned to his table, said a short prayer under his breath, and ate.

"It's a start, but I'll need more people for this. The orc's name is Crulmor, a powerful orc warlord from the mainlands. I tried to stop him but he eventually defeated me and kicked me out of the temple! I dread what he has done to my fellow monks."

*Denora puts her book away and walks over the catfolk*
"If it is something as precious as you say it is, I will glad help if you will allow me to assist you, I have never cared much for Orcs or ones who think stealing is the fast way to get what they want"

"Hey, some of us have to eat." The orc from before called out.
"You work at the local farm, Thrak, you're not poor enough to steal." Floxx chimed in.
"Excellent, thank you ma'am." The catfolk said with a nod. "My name is Harold Flifmer. I am a monk for The Order of The Green- it's an ancient group that has dedicated their lives to protecting the forest and guiding La'eldrei's power so he may watch over us."

*M'Elanin slowly rises in a smooth motion, not stopping his tune as he approaches.* "the fate of the forest would surely make for an interesting tale. You have my sword to assist if you need it." *he says in a calm and almost unemotional tone.*

*Denora bows before the catfolk*
"It is an honour for you to allow to me assist you, my name is Denora and I will do all that I can to help The Order of The Green"

Halamar swallowed the food he had in his mouth before speaking, "In what way does La'eldrei's power need guiding? Why does the great tree keep its power in a single stone - or is it the stone that is powerful, and gives it's power to La'eldrei?" He put another pile of meat and potatoes in his mouth, and continued eating.

Harold looked over to Halamar.
"W-well, he contains his power in the stone to increase his range over the forest. L'aeldrei currently resides on the southern part of the island, while the stone is located in a temple to the north. Between the two, his protection keeps the forest safe from outside forces."

Reilly kneed on her chair, leaning over the back of it to look keenly at the gathering group. Though she was a Kitsune, she wasn't from around here, and everything about was fascinating!
"I'll help too!" She blunted out, eyes wide with excitement before lowering her ears and smiling meekly. "If that's alright..."

"Yes, thank you! The more help the better." Harold said as he nodded to the Kitsune. "I'll gladly pay all of you if you can help me with this."

*denora shakes her head*
"I require little payment, if you perhaps have any good books to read, I would accept those instead. I for one gladly welcome more travelling companions."

Halamar ponders as he chews. "In which direction is this trouble - where is this Crulmor, and is he moving to a specific destination?" Halamar had finished about three-quarters of his meal. He set fork down, drained the cup of water, and stood smoothly. "If it is not terribly far out of my path, I shall join this... expedition, but I have other business in town to attend to first."

Harold looked outside and all around the forest.
"Well, the forest hasn't sunken into the ocean yet," He said sincerely as he walked back inside, "So I'm thinking Crulmor is still at the altar where the stone is kept. Most likely to gloat over his victory. I really should have studied up on ki.....u-uh, anyway, it's about 300 miles to the north of us. That bastard not only kicked me to the curb, but had one of his wizards use a powerful Dimension Door to drop me here!"

*Denora plays with her hair, twirling it between her fingers as she looks at the ground with a nervous look on her face*
"Dimension Doors should not be used so lightly, nor should he be allowed to gloat over such a victory without being punished for it. I suggest we head out immediately."
