Off the main shores of Rune sits a small island with a massive cavern in the center. At the face of the cavern is a small sign that, in handwritten letters, says "Enjoy!". This is a massive, yet humble, cave created by a powerful wizard. The wizard was a former room mate of the legendary Acererak, creator of the Tomb of Horrors. Sick of hearing him boast his powerful tomb, the wizard decided to create a cavern designed to help train adventurers so they may overcome the Tomb of Horror's cruelty. The cave's innards change every time someone walks inside and is always different. Yet, the cavern is tailored specifically to what the adventurer is seeking. Any adventurer may test themselves within the cave and further their training to become legends in their own right!

The Cave of Always Trials is a one-shot campaign designed to test characters out. There are no restrictions to characters. Players choose the stat modifiers they wish to test, the level they start with (which in turn determines their starting money), the items they have (again, based on the starting money), what type of enemy appears in the dungeon, how big the dungeon is, how difficult the dungeon is, and any other factors that they may wish to try. More than one player can attempt this dungeon at once, but they must all follow the same rules. For example, if the party decides to attempt the dungeon at level 15 and one player has a dice roll of 2d6+6, all players must be level 15 and have the same dice rolls for their attributes. Simply post the character sheet you want to use and have an idea of what dungeon you want prepared. All enemies/dungeons are randomly generated but encounters will be of a certain type (to be discussed in the RP).
