If anyone has any ideas they think would be neat for the great city in my campaign(the keepers) regardless of what they are either about other guilds parts of its history landmarks or other things feel free to throw them out id greatly appreciate it and it'd be nice to get others ideas in the city i hate having something i designed on my own. that being said throw them out there I'd love to hear any ideas you all might have i will be uploading a crude map tomorrow that will be purposefully bland to leave room for creative ideas. (sorry for the utterly crap image but its what ive got to work with)

For now I will be adding just basic descriptions of each location and its relevance/general purpose, feel free to add or change them as you like in your posts this is an exercise in community building.
(to be noted there are many rivers running through idenia i didn't draw them however)
Old Idenia: the heart of this vast city it is were the original city was built upon a grand hill with a view for miles it is still one of the highest parts of the city elevation wise. there is a beautiful lake known as chyrassus located in the heart of this district the castle in which all the cities royalty lives is built at its center with four draw bridges connecting it to north south east and west. many of the inhabitants are nobility or otherwise extremely wealthy and old families. other than the castle and several buildings most of this district is new as it was remade several years after the ashkin invaded and razed the city thus leading to the expansion and eventual establishment of new idenia. Old Idenia is the only district with a private wall and the only district that can deny idenian citizens access.
New Idenia: founded by the survivors of the ashkin war is to this day the current political heart of Idenia this part of the city has thousands of governmental buildings and many large garrisons. Though the city is still under the monarchy much of the day to day laws and life of this expansive city are handled by the district. there is also a thriving market and fishing section of this district.
Gier: the largest and most populous of the districts it was established as a connection once old Idenia had been rebuilt by the royal families. Most common folk reside in Gier it has thousands of guilds, shops, factories, and other establishments. The southern half of the city is inhabited mainly by wealthy farmers who own most of the great farmlands to the south which provide a large sum of the cities food.
Tross: tross is unique since it was initially an ancient elven capital and is thus home to the largest concentration of elves in Idenia, coincidentally it is also the most natural of the districts still being rather wooded for such a large populace. the district was founded when the idenian royalty proposed the idea to form a grand and unconquerable city. Some say this was one of the leading causes for idenia becoming what it is today. As a bit of trivia a clause of the treaty dictated that all elven royalty be indoctrinated as idenian royalty and over the years this has led to much of idenian royalty being half breeds.
K’sha and Pho: while not considered the same districts they are home to the most immigrants bar Eigo, this is due to the large influx of trade from eastern countries. Many migrated to idenia due to its sheer size which required many days to simply traverse the city, as a result many runaways or merchants began to live in these area which were not initially part of the city and over time were indoctrinated into its fold. They are almost entirely trade focused with k’sha being the home to much of the southern end of the cities banks and mints and pho being an amazing feat of engineering forming a city bridge on the water where most ships dock while visiting the city. The massive and famed pearl gates at the mouth of the bay have remained open for so long many believe them to no longer have the ability to close. Eigo: this district is filled with all those who commit crimes, wish to emigrate from the western and northern countries and most importantly the largest military might in all of idenia. Known as the grand service it is an army formed by every citizen residing in Eigo. as a result this district is very orderly and has great infrastructure. Eigo came about as the great line of defense against the ashkin to the north, the western warring states and the barbarians to the far northwest, among many other things. A notable feature of eigo is they control and maintain a grand wall constructed to force any enemies coming from the wild lands into a choke point at Eigo, the wall extents for some miles from the south west starting at the nigh impassable jagged teeth mountains and stopping several miles from the heart of Eigo. It then continues all the way to the north eastern coast whose waters are controlled by the merfolk of the great reef, their relationship with Idenia is strained but peaceful since they have more hatred and more to fear from the ashkin.
T’challa: is the religious capital of the city hundreds of pantheons exist among thousands of sculptures and monuments, it is truly a sight to walk in this beautiful part of the city, it was erected to be a place of worship, learning and intellectual wealth. Many, in fact all but three of the academies of idenia are located here and this section of the city is the most sparsely populated instead being devoted to teaching, prayer, and helping the sick.
Ash Lands: home to many demons and other vile creatures of death and destruction, most notably however are the ashkin deformed monstrous humanoids devoted to killing. Their names derive from their skin which is covered entirely in ash from the mount kakra legends say the volcano was made when heroes tried to seal the terrasque deep beneath it and now the beasts constant thrashing and poisonous blood gives birth to the horrendous ashkin.
Slobad: the city of gold, This amazing city is ruled by the jagged teeth dwarves who built it as a monument to their great power and wealth it is truly entirely made of gold, some call the dwarves mad for creating such an abhorrent city others find it amazing and dream of one day seeing its beauty.
Kilgrata forest: home to many wild peoples and races the forest has always been home to them and even the dwarves of slobad respect their privacy it is a place of nature and survival which cultivates only the strong. There are a few settlements in the forests however most inhabitants are secretive and xenophobic.
Sejo lake: a massive and beautiful lake with few living inhabitants it is said the first Idenians emerged from the lake and made their way to its sister to create the great city. Many think this to be a mere tale.
Craig isle: an island covered in jagged hills and mountains inhabited sparsely by goblins.
Isles of the eagles: a mysterious set of islands that few ever venture near said to be inhabited by a race of mystical eagles who slay any would be trespassers.

Kresh: a small trading settlement set up as a byroads between slobad and idenia man consider it a city of soundrels.
Kraken bay:named after several ships which were eaten by a sea monster in the bay.
Dead Drop Point: a long narrow strip of barren land which slowly rises to a large and imposing cliff, there is an ancient abandoned fortress there which many believe was once used for ritual sacrifices to the creatures of the deep.
Pearl bay: named for its once pearly blue waters and due to the island of pho seeming like a pearl in a clam it has become murky from years of being used by ships.
