Cathran writes something on the notepad and handed it back to Yeldrenin.
Cathran heard a tengu call, did tengu call Cathran over? it said.

*yeldrenin takes the note and looks puzzled for a moment, then begins to write.* "no I did not, I apologize if I disturbed you, I try to limit use of my voice as I cannot hear it to control ho-" *he stops and grabs his ale mug as it starts sliding toward the edge of the table and sets it on the other side of him before continuing* "-w loud I am." *he hands her the note.*

She sits down at the table with him as the innkeeper brought her the honey mead. She takes the pad and writes something.
"What is Tengu's name?"

"Same." She wrote. "Cathran believes Yeldrenin is a caster, is Cathran correct?"

I search for the answers that will remove this burden from my family line." *he looks it over and starts to offer the note, then stops and writes.* "What of your profession? For you to have picked up on that you are obviously familiar with magic of some form, are you not?" *he then hands the parchment back*

"Cathran is familiar with magic, yes. By trade, Cathran is a sorcerer. Cathran doesn't see it that way, though. Cathran sees it more as a weight Cathran has to carry."

And tucks that away in a leather case. * "I do not know much about the arcane, but from what I've heard sorcerors are supposed to be very gifted in their raw use of their energy. Do you have some great magic in your history, or is it simply chance that you were bestowed such a gift?"

"Cathran isn't gifted. Cathran has a bloodline curse in the form of dragon blood. It takes Cathran all of Cathran's strength to keep the curse contained. Cathran was raised by dragons, who taught Cathran to control the curse."

*takes the parchment* "ah, a dragon sorceror. The only other sorceror I knew was also of dragon blood. He struggled with it at first, but as he accepted it he began to excel in ways he never thought possible. But that's just my experience with him." *the lemon tries to lift again and bumps the plate then stops as yeldrenin hands the parchment to Cathran.*

I've gotten better at controlling the visible aspects-" *he stops, and waves his hand toward the bar and a mug that had been rising is pushed back town to the counter (mage hand)* "like that mug, but i can't do a thing about the sounds people keep mentioning." *he hands the parchment back to her*
