Backstory:
Lila's father(Riddick) hated her growing up because Lila being born is what caused her mother(Victoria) to die. While growing up Lila always had a fascination with weapons. Her favored one being the Scythe. This directly went against Riddicks wishes of her growing up to be a "proper" elven woman. Lila was starting to imitate Victoria who was a rogue that also favored the Scythe as a primary weapon. Riddick tried to force her to accept the elven tradition her family follows and take on the Longbow as her primary weapon. Lila rejected this idea, preferring to be up close with her opponents. This ultimately led to her family isolating her further and Lila became something akin to a social pariah. She grew up alone, and was perfectly fine with that. It gave her more time to hunt down the perfect Scythe and start teaching herself how to use it. Lila then spent 85 years perfecting her technique with the Scythe and along the way also taught herself how to use the Battleaxe. On her 100th birthday she was going through some old boxes and found a pendant and a ring. Next to both was a letter written in Riddicks handwriting, talking about Victoria. The pendant was the one Victoria had worn everyday until she died, and the ring was Riddicks promise to Victoria, whom he had loved even though it was forbidden by his very own parents.
Riddick had become the very thing that he had always rebelled against, and now he was trying to force Lila into an arranged marriage with a "proper" elven man. One Lila learned of this arrangement she packed up her few possessions and put both the pendant and and the ring on herself before leaving her home. All that was left behind was a letter to him explaining why she was leaving and sitting right next to it was the letter he had written about Victoria. After a while she was taken in by a kitta tribe, Trics, and did her best to act like an older sibling to Tric who had just recently been born. Lila taught Tric the way of the Scythe once she got older.
