Is someone willing to hold my hand with a few things?
How to actually play pathfinder is something I would love to learn. Making a character, combat etc.
How to post and play on this site. I am so so lost....
Introduction to some people, I know some sites like this if you are not part of the "Group" then you more or less get left out...
Just message me or reply to the topic I guess if you have time to help.

We'd be honored to help you. What's your experience with tabletop games?

First off, Welcome to the site glad to have you!! Both zekeybomb and myself are fairly experienced and would love to help you learn pathfinder. The others on here can help as well, and we're all pretty friendly Playing by post is fairly easy, but if you are used to in person games it may take a little bit to get used to the pace. In general because we are not all sitting around a table, the role play sections will go a little slower, but this also gives you plenty of time to think over how you want to reply. We do the majority of combat on another site called roll20 because it allows us to set up a playing field to move out characters around. Combats take place when we can get everyone online to participate (usually in the late afternoons to early evening) But if you have any more questions, feel free to message me or post here. I try to check the posts fairly often through the day. Once again, welcome! And I hope you have fun Sincerely, Ding

We'd be honored to help you. What's your experience with tabletop games? I am use to playing DND 4E with friends in person, but honestly we are not very good at it. I don't understand things like multi-classing or using anything outside of the core player handbooks. A lot of things go over my head it seems when it comes to reading anything from Pathfinder or even 4E on how to make characters that are not basic copy and paste classes.

By that I mean with a character and joining an actual RP that is going on.

Simple enough- build a character in the Character Sheet subforum using either a 20-point buy or 2d6+6 for each stat as well as starting money. I can walk you through how to use the dice macro on the reply page if you want. We use a site called Myth Weavers to keep track of our character: www.myth-weavers.com/Sign up (it's free!) and create a new character sheet. Then put the character sheet in your character topic here. Once all that's done, all you have to do is express interest in joining one of the campaigns. Currently there's only two campaigns and one of them is full, but we'll be able to get you involved with a new campaign if you want. We just need enough people to make it happen.

Now I just need to learn Pathfinder lol...

if you've played DnD you're halfway there. Pathfinder's pretty close to how DnD 3.5 was.

hey! id be happy to help you out, if you have a skype it might be quicker but i can help you out over PM's too then after you get your character made we can get you in on a game! the good thing about each campaign having 4-5 people in it helps keep that clique-y bullshit out so we can pretty much meet and chill with even the newbies to the site !
