Description: This +1 Grenade ( as per standard non-alchemist grenade. ranged touch attack dealing 1d6 damage to main target, 1 damage to adjacent targets) explodes when thrown, along with duplicating the spell "Holy Smite" centered on the point of impact with a Will save DC of 20. This weapon is considered Holy, as the weapon enchantement, with the following difference: the negative level inflicted upon evil creatures who wield this weapon stays for 24 hours following the weapon leaving their posession, whether from it exploding, or being removed without detonating. Crafting Requirements: Gunsmithing (required for crafting the standard grenade), Craft Wondrous Item, Creator must be Good aligned, Creator must be at least CL 10 "Holy Smite", 2500 gp
EASE OF USE DAMAGE LIST: Calculate grenade and spell separately because of different radii
Grenade: target the ranged touch attack is made against is designated the main target, any creatures within 5 feet of the main target are designated adjacent Against non-evil targets, it deals 1d6+1 damage to main target, 2 damage to an adjacent creature of non-evil alignment Against evil targets, it deals 3d6+1 to main target, 2d6+2 damage to an adjacent creature of evil alignment
Spell Effect: 10 feet in all directions from point of impact Against Good Creatures, no damage and not blinded. Against Neutral(neither good nor evil) Creatures, 1/2 of 5d8 damage on failed save and not blinded, 1/4 of 5d8 damage on a successful save and not blinded. Against Evil Creatures, 5d8 damage on a failed save and blinded for 1 round, 1/2 of 5d8 damage on a successful save and not blinded. Against Evil Outsiders, 10d6 damage on a failed save and blinded for 1 round, 1/2 of 10d6 damage on a successful save and not blinded.
Tied to this magic item is a small scroll that reads:

It is unclear how this scroll is created, as it simply appears upon finishing the crafting process for making the grenade.

A standard gunpowder grenade may be crafted if you have the gunsmithing feat. It is a DC 18 craft(weapons) check to do so, and costs 50 gp worth of materials. You can create multiple grenades at the same time, similar to crafting ammunition, but each grenade crafted at the same time increases the craft DC by 1. They can occasionally be bought from purveyors of firearms for 100 gp each.
Grenades are treated as thrown splash weapons, and can be upgraded and enchanted similar to ammunition. You can enchant them in groups as ammunition up to 10.
As a splash weapon, they deal 1d8 damage to the primary target, and 1 damage to targets within 5 feet.
*enchantments that add extra damage dice to an attack (such as 1d6 fire, or 2d8 cold) do minimum damage to adjacent targets. **a grenade cannot score a critical hit, just like alchemical splash weapons.
