"The wilderness is perfectly hospitable if you know what you're doing. Keeping your cool and understanding the terrain will ensure success." Halamar was becoming frustrated at his clouded mind, his distraction. "I am not sure as to what these numbers mean - distances, perhaps? Trailblazing might be significantly quicker."

"I think the numbers are the distances." Harold said as he looked at the sign. "So the wild path is shorter, but the open path is safer. At least, I assume so."

"It won't do us any good to save 5 miles of travel if we never make it out the other end. We should continue moving along the main path."

*Denora writes down a few more notes in her notebook and looks up*
"I agree, the main path is the best option for us to take."

"Alright, then, let's take the good path."
Harold continued down the winding road.

Halamar rolled his eyes and muttered under his breath, but continued to act as rear guard.

*D'Jangus, still walking at the front of the group* "So, besides our mutual appreciation for nature, what brings you four to L'aeldrei's Forest?" *he said smirking, the thought of fates intertwining amusing him*

Reilly has been lounging on the back of her pony, absently toying with its mane. When she heard D'Jangus, she jerked upright. "We have to appreciate things to come along?!" She lowers her head a little, mumbling "I just thought you all looked amusing..."

*Denora looks back at the one on the pony*
"Little one no one is judging you, we all have our reasons for answering the monks call."

"You make it sound like it's some legendary journey." Harold said sheepishly. He scratched the back of his neck. "All I did was wander into a local tavern and ask for help."

*Denora pulls her hair back and ties it into a pony tail and looks back to Harold*
"If there is one thing to learn in life, no adventure or lesson is small or insignificant. Everything has a purpose and it was not a chance meeting we all decided to help you. At least in my eyes it's not."
*She then gets her book out and starts to scribble in more notes*

"It better be a legendary journey! That's what I signed up for!" "It's nice that no one is judging me" she smirked at Denora. "But I'm judging all of you..."

*Denora smiled and laughed*
"Everyone judges for some reason, it comes as no surprise you are"

"Sooo..." Reilly glanced around the group of rather untalkative people. "Anyone have any rich attractive siblings in case this whole thing goes terribly south for me?" She says, snickering at her own joke.

*D'Jangus chuckled* "Unfortunately, most of my family has sworn off material wealth in pursuit of other means of happiness" *he turns towards Reilly with a half smile* "A view with which I don't personally subscribe."
